Baby Buttercup...

I love the greens and blues right now....so adorable.  This is the BONUS baby quilt that comes with the Buttercup pattern.  I made it in a few evenings and got it quilted and bound yesterday!  Love it!!

It is now the new little pic on the back of the pattern--I took off the pink one.  I liked it, but not as much as this one.  So all future patterns, after the ones already printed, will have this on the back...and all PDFs...

Cute, huh??  I like it....

Baby Butterflies Pattern

This pattern is perfect for jelly rolls, or just any scraps you have around the sewing room.  The butterflies come together quickly and the quilt is so whimsical and charming....check it out!

And butterflies in aqua, red and pink fabric scraps...

And this beautiful hot pink and purple batik wall hanging for my classroom...

Once you start making these butterflies you won't be able to stop!

Runaround Sue Pattern!

I love this pattern because it is perfect for precuts...layer cakes or jelly rolls--anything goes!

And a smaller baby quilt version in Kate Spain's Good Fortune fabric...

Fun times!!  You'll be amazed and how easily this quilt comes together...

Maybellene Quilt Pattern

This is a great quilt for using up all those precuts that are so addicting to buy! A layer cake, two matching charm packs and some background fabric are all you need to get started on this amazing quilt.

Here is an up-close shot....

And another one made up in batiks...

An up close shot....

So many possibilities!  This is a very forgiving pattern...easy for beginners and wonderfully scrappy!

Extra Credit Quilt Pattern!

I wrote a pattern for my mini log cabin quilt that uses one jelly roll to make a 48" x 48" play quilt (alternate sizes available)....Extra Credit is now available in my Craftsy Store!

And the quilt that I made to test it out got quilted this week!  I used a panto called One Cloudy Day and it turned out really cute, in my opinion...

I absolutely love it and found that I really enjoy working with small pieces....there are nearly 900 pieces in this little quilt!  Awesome...my hexies are coming along nicely as well.  I'm in uncharted territory so I'll post a pic of my progress thus far tomorrow.  It is the applique stage that I'm stuck on...Sharon offered to give me a lesson in applique.  Definitely!!

This is the last Friday at school and we couldn't be happier around here.  I hope all is well with you all...

Happy Quilting!

Buttercup Quilt Pattern

I just released my latest quilt pattern Buttercup!  I am in love with making this block.  The cover quilt finishes around 76" x 76".

And an up close shot...It takes the equivalent of one fat quarter per block so it is super easy to buy your fabric--number of blocks = number of fat quarters.  And they are BIG 16" x 16" blocks so they come together quickly!

I've made several baby quilts from the BONUS baby quilt pattern that is included with the full size pattern.  Check them out!  The first was using some adorable Riley Blake pinks and grays...

This one was from a few Bonnie and Camille blue and green fat quarter that I picked up at the LQS...

Anyhow, the pattern is available for purchase on Craftsy or Etsy...Enjoy!
